Hollywood's Channing Tatum 33, married to Jenna Dewan-Tatum had a question and answer chat with Cosmos. He has this to say about spicing up a relationship.
Q: You and Jenna [his wife] have been together for nearly eight years. What's your secret?
A: "You have to want it. Jenna's and my thing is checking in with each other all the time, like 'On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you love me right now?' And you gotta be honest, and you've got to want an honest answer. I told a friend to do that. He asked the question and it turned into a huge fight, and I'm like, that's kind of the point. Obviously, something needed to be fixed, he needed to be aware of it, and she needed to get it off her chest."
Q: On how Channing and Jenna jokes around with each other
A: "You know how you give someone raspberries? [not fruit] Jenna actually sticks her whole face into my fat stomach and gives me a raspberries sometimes. Her whole face disappears into my fatness."
Q: On making relationships work
A: "When I was kid and I'd say, 'Dad, I can't catch the football.' My dad would say, 'Well do you want to catch it?' And I'd be like, 'Yeah, I want to catch it.' And he would say, 'You have to want to catch it, you will eventually.' I feel like that about relationships. If you want it to work, you can make it work."
Wonderful advice from experience. Duly noted!
