General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Ministry has offered to resign from his post following the controversy generated by his second son John's wedding to another Deeper Life Pastor's daughter Love Odih. The couple engaged in acts contrary to the doctrine of the church such as wearing makeup, putting on jewelry, using a limousine amongst others and were suspended for the deed, According to Deeper Life doctrines the parents of children who misbehave are also punished so the bride's father who was the Overseer of the church in Jamaica was removed from his position and so Kumuyi too at the church's board meeting offered to resign but was prevailed upon not to.
