"Glee" star Cory Monteith, who starred as 'Finn' in the Fox's
music-themed-comedy drama has voluntarily checked into rehab for
substance abuse.
His rep told ABCNews.com that the actor "has voluntarily admitted
himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction."
"He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the
necessary steps towards recovery," the rep added to his statement.
He is currently dating "Glee" co-starLea Michele. She told People, "I
love and support Cory and will stand by him through this."
"I am grateful and proud he made this decision," she said.
I hope he gets better soon. Cory and Lea are the main reason I love
watching Glee.
