Paris Jackson and Debbie
PARIS Jackson has been reunited with her mother after 14 years apart.
Michael Jackson's daughter spent her15th birthday on Wednesday with
her birth mother Debbie Rowe – who signed away all parental rights
when she split with the singer.
A source close to the family said: "The two just hung out. They've
gotten really tight."
Debbie wed the King of Pop in November 1996, three months before the
birth of their son Prince, now 16, and Paris was born just over a year
later.
The pair divorced in 1999 – when Paris was one – and Debbie signed
custody over to the singer as part of her £6.5 million deal.
But Debbie has been back in touch with her teenage daughter on a few
occasions since Michael's death from an overdose in 2009.
The mother of Prince and Paris Jackson said: "My kids don't call me
Mom because I don't want them to. They're Michael's children. It's not
that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to
be a father.
"People make remarks,
'I can't believe she left her children.' Left them? I left my
children? I did not leave my children.
"My children are with their father, where they are supposed to be. I
didn't do it to be a mother... If he called me tonight and said let's
have five more [children], I'd do it in a heartbeat."
Michael's mother was named legal guardian of all three of the
superstar's children following his death.
Rest in Peace Micheal.
